zinc anodes

My pontoon is kept in the salt water for 4 months a year. The bottom is painted but is it wise attach some sort of anode to each tube. If so, does anyone know where it would be attached.

It certainly can't hurt anything.

Generally an anode is attached to each tube below the water line and on clean aluminum, you want a good electrical connection so you may have to have a tab welded onto each tube and you should be able to bolt right through the motor pan.
