the two o-rings on the yoke that goes into the drive coupler, when fully installed should those o-rings actually sit under the gimbal bearing or just before the gimbal bearing on the drive side. I was just wondering because i have a new shaft and it goes in and sits just before the gimbal bearing, i know the engine is aligned ok so i went and looked at some older shafts. On some of the older ones the two o-rings are crushed as if they are underneath the gimbal bearing, on some of the other yokes there is a mark just in front of the two o-rings where it looks like the gimbal bearing would have been sitting.
anyone know if those o-rings go under the bearing or just before it? thanks. don't know if this is important but it is an sx drive.
