Sorry but Im happy and just wanted to share, since my wife isnt to happy that I spend the whole weekend working on the boat..Ive been worring and overthinking the task for quite some time now but finnally got it done..I had a good bit of trailor work to do..I have a 17 foot larson trihull and the trailor set up was terrible so I change all the rollers and took the bunks off and bought some swivel brackets so I could get the bunks flat on the hull instead of straight up and down..Had to move the winch up about six inches cause the boat had very little tongue weigh..What a difference six inches made..Feels perfect now..And for the first time my boat is actually centerd on the trailor..But my concern was geting the boat off the trailor and back..So heres what I did I bought 3 landscape timbers and 11 cinder blocks..Took the timbers nailed them togather with 3 8inch nails, put three blocks on each side of the boat in the front lifted up the tongue of the trailor slid the timbers inbetween the keel and the trailor put some wood on each of the two side keels to level then let some play in my winch..went to the back of the boat put 3 blocks one on each side and one in mid jacked up in the mid with car jack until wiegh was off the trailor then put jackstands on each coner block to support the weigh pulled out jack put on more block in mid the some wood till it was just right. And then went to tongue took winch completely off lifted the tongue a little and bingo slid out trailor did the reverse to put it back on And Ill tell you With boat on stands and blocks it was solid as a rock..Sorry for the long post..
