1990 120hp. Bleeds down slowly. No external leak.
1) Would it likley be the pump rather than a cylinder?
2) What is the pentagon shaped thing with the silver rod that the motor rests on? It has a hydrolic line to it, but does not move.
3) Recently the motor started clicking instead of pumping. I took it apart and it has a plastic piece that holds the brushes. The plastic was broken and one brush is not connected to the wire. Im going to try to repair\rig it. Can I buy a replacement piece, not whole motor?
4) I havent had the boat in the water yet. With the trim bleeding down and resting on the post on the pentagon thing, will I be able to get on plane or just push the boat around? Its a 1990 bayliner trophy saltsharker.
