You were right about the 9.5 hp evinrude. It actually performed better with the stock .048 orifice than the enlarged ones. I performed a carb rebuild on the thing and it runs like the proverbial top.<br /><br />The **** boat will still not quite plane out (14 foot Loweline with custom plywood interior) so i decided to fix the problem once and for all.
