So , first of all , thanks for confirming my timing debacle question. I should have mentioned the fact that I'm probably going to replace the upper crank seal at this time ,also. This crankshaft has the points cam cast into the crank, kinda like a late '50's merc mk28a. Anyone know the correct SKF seal number for this application? I'm not sure if it's the same seal as the 35 hp with the removable points cam. I seriously doubt the seal puller will work on my seal..although I've been wrong before. Any thoughts? Thanks ,Greg
