Sloopy, a while back you asked if you could sail on ice. Yes you can. In an ice boat. They are hot and fast, 20 - 60 mph. Who knows, maybe alot faster. Never done it, but have seen a few of the "boats" being stored for the summer. THat doesn't sound right, does it?<br /><br />On the cover of Tuesdays Wisconsin State Journal is a picture of a guy? using a para-sail to ski/skate across a lake. Looks pretty hairy to me.

Surprized you haven't already strapped skates on to your sloop already Sloopy. Poor mans way is to use ice skates and get one of your 6' wingspan kites to pull you around.
