Yes, another new(to me) Starcraft

Hi all, I just joined the forum after purchasing a 1976 Starcraft Super Sport 16 on Saturday. This is my first boat and I'm totally new to boats. It has a 1973 Chrysler 70hp that gets it moving along pretty good. Can't wait for the holiday weekend to get it out.

I'll have pictures later today after work and I'll do my best to post them. Mostly this will be a fish boat on Lake Erie and the Niagara River for walleye and bass, but I can see it doing some tube work on vacations. This looks like a great forum, I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions- I am a total nooob.

Welcome to iboats. Can't wait for the pictures!

I just finished up my first boat also - couldn't've done it without the help of the people here; I would've made a ton of mistakes.

Here is a picture of my boat, hopefully this weekend will be nice so I can get out and fish. Open bow, full windshield, convertible top, I'll have to get some pictures of those too.

Nice looking boat if could, I suggest putting some fenders on that trailer saves the side of your boat from stone chips and that dam tar when they reseal roads.....
