years were OMC & Volvo O/D's were the same

Can someone tell me what years OMC & Volvo used the same cone clutch systems? I'm specifically looking at when did the OMC shift cable adjustment problems Stuart does such a fine job outlining go away.

If my history is correct, VP bought out OMC in 1992 or 1993. By 1994 on they were one and the same with the cone clutch. So, if you're looking for a reliable OMC, look for 1994 and later.
