Year of my boat

Hi All

I was wondering what year this boat can be , i know it is a slickcraft grew SS140 that is all i can say i look onto the little plate at the back of boat but not saying the year . I have some pics they are small but if you need a little bigger i can post it during the weekend since i am at work .

The plate has the hull ID # which is the serial number. That will tell you manufacturer & year. You may have to post it here & some kind soul will look it up or tell you where you can.

The Problem is that i dont see the year on that little plate this is what that plate is saying:
NO: MOT11759, HP: 50, Builder : Grew Limited, Lbs: 1085, Model : SS140. The reason is wny i asking is that if i want to insurance the boat they need all that info and they told me if it is really old they wont be able to put insurance on the boat. This boat was given to me from a friend that is no longer available.

Your boat looks new enough to have a HIN (hull ID number) on the starboard side of the transom, outside on the back, up near the seam. In most cases the last 2 digits are the last 2 of the year made. I have seen some where there is a digit after the year.
