Year of Motor?

I have a 60hp mercury with what I read as the serial number on the engine of 08260709. The eight is hard to tell, could be a B. But I don't see any on the list from the sticky post on this site. The boat is an '87 and was told it was all bought new as a package. I'm guessing it's a '86 or '87. What's your guess?

No need to guess, it's an '88 model.

Thanks mate. I really appreciate that. I guess I was stuck on 87 since that was the year of the boat.
