Year of motor, Suzuki DT8C

HI, Anyone know or How would I find the year of this motor? Suzuki DT8C ser# 904564. It has the number 83 stamped on the powerhead, but I'm not susre that's the year. The chart I have for Suzuki's, only helps on newer models. Thanks

DT 8 C ..C is for oil injection. Your stamped six digit serial no. starts with a 9 so you have a 1989 model.
