We recently purchased a 14' Mirro Craft with hull number G241377. We don't know for sure what year it is. The title said it was a 1977, but we are quite sure it is older than that. We have changed the title to 1967 but we are thinking it is even older than that - possibly a 1957. We contact the manufacturer and were told that they go back to "I" series which was made in 1960.

Any suggestions how we determine the correct year of our boat? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: year of Mirro Craft?

I googled Mirrocraft Serial Numbers and came up with the following answer on WikiAnswers.com:

"The last two digits in the hull ID number will be the year of manufactor. The ID number is usually found on the top starboard side of the transom.== Answer == Take down the serial number and go to the manufactures web site. Also the DMV should be able to tell you."

The Hull Identification Number on my 14' 1984 Mirrocraft is MRR1417M84F so I would be inclined to suspect that your boat is probably a 1977 model

Re: year of Mirro Craft?

Welcome to iboats.

Boats manufactured prior to 1974 do not have nor conform to the new numbering system. Guessing is about the only method!

Take a few pictures and follow the directions in the forum rules.... there were slight variations on some of the older models and you might get lucky.
