Year and horsepower rating for Wizard

I have a Wizard outboard motor model # WG4<br />serial # 724562.I need to know horsepower rating and repair or owners manaul. Thank you.

Your wizard was made by Mercury for Western Auto stores in the early 50s, 1950-54 I think. It's rated at 6 hp. A manual for a Mercury KD4 fits the mechanicals on it, try www.oldmercs.com, only difference between the two was cosmetics such as the tank, recoil and paint color.
