HEEEELLLLPPPP!!! :) I need help installing throttle/shift cables on my yammy 90hp (2005). I cannot find any instructions online or in the service manual. what are the steps? Do I need adapter kits if I buy teleflex cables. Should I buy Yammy cables? are the premium cables that much better than the standard ABA cables from yamaha? DO I need two seperate cables? one for throttle/one for shift? (i think I do). is it difficult to adjust these settings? HELP me RODBOLT? Thanks in advance!!!!!, Ray

hello
did you buy the box new? if so the box cable ends are either in a bag or attached to the shift/throttle arms. yes you will need two cables. one fore shift and one for throttle. would be best if you bought the 05 rigging guide but I think the cable intallation instructions for the engine end are in the owners manual.
what make and model control box do you have? what part of north eastern NC are you in?
the engine cable ends come attached to the pivot points or in a bag with the other fasteners. they keep changing it :) .is this motor new out of the crate or new to you ?
the yamaha cables are far superior to any teleflex. and cost about the same.
