I just checked the calendar and sure enough this is LABOR DAY WEEKEND when all boatists in my neck of the woods enjoy the beginning of the end of the season. My heart aches to know that I will not be among them. But HARK!!!! a light is softly glowing on the horizon!! I heard a vicious rumor that the final installment of parts is 3 or 4 days away. So ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY and my thoughts will be with all of the boatists this weekend as I repair my sons brakes and flat tires. WITH THANKS TO ALL WHO ASSIST US.....BART(LANDLOCKED)SR.

What installment of parts Bart? They're either is or ain't in Hotlanta and that's only two days UPS. So are you going to be the proud owner of Yamaha tools so as they can fix your O/D?

Well KEN it's good to hear from you! When the bearing was ordered it took one week to arrive and the service folks told me the day after I gave them YOUR number that the shims were ordered and would be here in about a WEEK. I believe that was on WEDNESDAY. So rather than become a SCREAMING MEEMIE I am PATIENTLY???? waiting for that joyous phone call telling me that I can pick it up OR that SOMETHING ELSE needs to be ordered or DONE!!!! Before TRENT hooked me up with you I was resigned to finding a way to getting out from under my beached whale. I'm still getting ribbed at work about getting WET around MEMORIAL DAY??????? You're right Trent, I have done stranger things for beer and oysters. Went last week to Dusty's and the oysters wasn't that great. Daughter went sunday and said the first batch wasn't but the second, third, forth, and fifth was great. New Cajun restaurant opened up last month in town and we went last week. Dang good food. Seafood gumbo was to kill for.

WELL WELL WELL WELL WELL!!!!!!!!! The saga continues!!!!!!!!!!! Just got off the phone with the SERVICE??? people they DON'T HAVE THE TOOLS TO REPAIR MY UNIT!!!!!!! They managed to borrow the tools to MEASURE the whatever bot NOT TO FIX IT!! They say they can put it back together as best they can but WILL NOT WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE ANYTHING!!!!!!! I say that has a sphinctre factor of about 9.5!!!!!! So KEN after I arrange the return of my unit I WILL send it to you!!!!!! I have your business address and will let you know when that happens. I'm sorry to hear that Bart, but I'm glad you're not getting into a bigger mess by them jumping into something that would cost you more later. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow as replace all the bearings in both the upper and lower of one. Tomorrow will be a shimming day for me. If only folks would leave me alone and not break my train of thought. Its getting where my train of thought gets derailed quite easy nowadays.
