Yamaha vmax 150 no spark on #2 and #5 ??

awhile back I had a severe intermittent missing issue, diagnosed that as a stator, bought a used one because a new one is about $600.. problem solved.. now, about 6-8 mos later ive got no spark on #2 and #5.. I used a friends tester wiring harness with key switch, still the same results.. I purchased a used trigger (again because a new one is about $600) coil and installed it, still have the same two dead cylinders.. any suggestions??

its a 2003 carb motor by the way..
