Yamaha sterndrive speedo hose disconnected

I noticed my speedometer hose was loose. It’s not the part that connects to the little nipple on the outdrive but I am guessing it connects to another part up in the gimbal housing? If anyone could give me a area on where to look that would be great. I currently have my outdrive off so I can replace my lower shifter cable

You didn't mention what year
I'm seeing it in about the same location as on a Merc, its below the steering arm, and above the drive shaft bellows

94 century 180 but has the Yamaha 4.3 outdrive

Hmm I guess I may need a new hose then because it’s nowhere near that long so maybe it broke. My speedo hasn’t worked in a while

The hose in the pic may only look that long, but this is the one between the drive and transom. It should come thru in the same place on the inside

Looks like it may be a pain to replace lol. I’ve never taken a gimbal housing apart. I’ll have to look if I can ever get home before dark
