Yamaha Sterndrive Intrchangability?

Hello. This is my first post so please be gentle. I tried to search for my question but couldn't find an answer so here it goes. I've recently purchase a '94 Dynasty runabout with Yamaha 3.0l sterndrive. I was wondering if the outdrive parts from a 4.3l were interchangeable with that of the 3.0l? If not totally what type of components would be? I was also wondering if the trim cylinders on these units were rebuildable or do they just need to be replaced. Thanks for any help you can give.

As far as I know, they are the same. The difference being the gear ratio for the 3.0 versus the 4.3. The gear ratio difference being in the upper case, so the lower should be the same.
I also have the 3.0.
