First, do you have the deep set socket needed to remove the rear nut? If not, you will have to buy or build one. The ends of the cable is easy to bend and jam. Be careful feeding it thru and don't damage it. Also don't forget to remove the O-ring from the old cable and put it on the new cable. Failure to do this will result in water leaking in the shift linkage area. That is the few things not covered in the book. BTY, you do have a book don't you!!!
