PLEASE HELP!!!! I just bought an '01 OX66 Saltwater Series 225hp. I am trying to install the digital tach and speedometer that came with the motor (hope it is the correct one I need). Anyway, I am VERY mechanically inclined, however, running into a snag with the wires on the speedometer. I am down to a white and red wire, not sure where they should go. I was told by one person that the white is for a kill switch and don't remeber where the red was supposed to go. THEN, I was told that the red was a constant for the batt. switch and white for fuel level. Can someone please lead me in the right direction. I don't mind doing leg work to find the answer if someone can tell me where to look. Just bought a downloadable manual off the internet last night to help me out, but that seems like a waste of $10 and 2 hours. I can't wait to get this thing started.
