I have a 2004 Yamaha 150 2 stroke on my center console that pulsates and won’t get on plain. I bought the boat a few months ago and had to replace one of the pistons in it. After replacing it and putting everything back together I took it out on the water. It will idle fine but when I go to get up on pad it’ll rev out and move good then it’ll just die down for a second then rev out a little again then die down. I cleaned the carbs good, replaced both fuel pumps on motor, replaced water to fuel separator, and also replaced the power pack and nothing has changed. I also deleted the oil mixture tank to just mix the gas myself bc I find that more reliable. If anyone has any ideas of what my issue could be or anything else I can try please let me know.

I would do the fuel pumps.Fuel pumps are simple and inexpensive to replace. There is an expensive filter inside the vst tank.I would clean or replace it.Charlie
