Yamaha prop question...maybe?

I'm starting on YEAR II of my 1992 Celebrity GM350/Yamaha Sterndrive run. Last year it worked out surprisingly well and trouble free despite the fear-mongering on the forums, lol, but I digress. My question has to do with the propeller availability. I know the Yamaha has a 15-spline output shaft, as does an Alpha one. The Yamaha has a 3.5" gear case, as does an Alpha one. I've been told by upgrading hardware that I can run a prop for an Alpha on the Yamaha? The part number on the prop that came on the boat (which has since been sold) was a Mercruiser Quiksilver II, weren't these made for Alpha drives? If I can run a Mercruiser prop, it would open my options exponentially.

Yamaha props are hard to come by down here, so the last surviving few Yammie owners tend to run Alpha props. That said, SOLAS props do still stock Yamaha ones.
