Hi, great forum. Lots of good info. Motor got dunked last season. Removed carbs/plugs, Soaked starter, then washed and fogged all internals. cleaned 2 carbs and replaced a new third that had seized. Disassembled the fuel and oil pumps and cleaned them. cleaned all fuel and oil lines. Boat is still on the trailer. Haven't add added gas yet.

Several problem: I get a sustained alarm when the key is turned on, then motor is dead when trying to start. Undo the coupling to the oil sensor (2 green wires) and the alarm stops, motor turns over. Disconnect the pink wire,- no change. Removed the oil tank sensor probe but got no continuity right side up or upside down. Any suggestions?
Other issue (at least that I know about now) Carb linkage rod springs are not getting the job done. Butterflys stay in whatever position you put them and are sticky. The springs will not close the butterfly valves. Without back pressure against the throttle cam, throttle will open up, but not go back down. A runaway motor could be a little inconvenient!

More carb cleaner? Fogging oil? Again- any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks
