Yamaha ox66 no spark

Hello all and thank you in advance for any help. I’m trying to troubleshoot a no spark problem. Bought the boat at auction, Yamaha ox66 250hp. Engine will turn over over but is not getting any spark to the plugs. Made sure I had kill switch lanyard in, shifter in neutral and good batteries. Still no spark. Bypassed kill switch, still nothing. Power is getting to starter, flywheel is spinning.

so before I buy a new stator, trigger, cdi... any suggestions on how to check these items individually? Or possibly something else that I am missing? Confirmed no spark on any spark plugs, confirmed good connection from coils through a multimeter. Spark plugs are good per multimeter.
