Yamaha NEW 70 vs 75 - What are the performance differences?

What are the performance differences? I know the 75 weighs more (125lbs) and has a bigger block and cc displacement. The 90 uses the same block. But what are the PERFORMANCE differences? I am purchasing an Alumacraft 165 CS and am favoring the new 70 for its light weight, advertised hole shot improvement and gas mileage. I plan to occasionally pull an adult skier. Would the 75 be better for pulling a skier? If yes, why? Has anyone had direct experience with these two motors and could comment? It doesn't seem worth it to upgrade to the 75 and gain 125 lbs and lose gas mileage for 5 hp.

Might do some searching on this site to see what they list on boat like the one you are talking about if they list same boat with both motors
