Yamaha Multifunction Guages

I noticed the Yamaha Multifunction Guages listed as an option with many of their outboard power packages. Other than the standard rig guages incicating RPM's, Temperature, and Speed, what exactly do the multifunction guages accomplish? Are the existing guages replaced with Yamaha's own guages or are the multifunction guages used in addition to the existing rig guages?<br /><br />Kevin

Multi function gauges replaces basic warning horns and other small single use gauges, Tach's inc. trim angle, low oil, water temp. Speedo's inc fuelgauge, time, triptimes, battery levels
