Yamaha multifunction gauges

[Hold On]

Just replaced my switch/gauge panel. Everything worked fine before. After hooking everything back up, I am getting a flashing middle bar (oil level) on my tach. What gives ? Motor starts and all other gauges/switches work fine. All I can see is a bad ground. But even that does not make sense. Help !

someplace the wire from the switch in the remote tank is open,the switch is bad or the remote tank is low, as long as that bar is flashing you wont get oil transfer if its a circuit issue or the tank is low.goinginto the switch is a black and a black/red wire. make sure the black has continuity to ground and the black/red wire has continuity back to the engine harness, if the tank is over 1/3 full the switch shoud have continuity.
