Yamaha MR-1 High Output 4 Stroke engines

I am planning to buy my first motor boat. The one I am looking at has the above-referred-to engine. What should I expect from this engine? I am not trying to win any race, just spending a nice day under the sun in the sea. Thanks for your advise.
