did you try to figure out where it was coming from.
have heard that air in the fuel pumps will make a clicking noise, but I would think it would be a constant click not what you are having
The other motor doesn't make a similar sound?....Have your water pumps been serviced/replaced recently?....Maybe those spring washers on top of water pumps are/were not adjusted to take slack out of driveshaft?....
