yamaha l4 3.0l fuel pump replacement

Hello there,

alas, my fuel pump seems to be failing on my yamaha sterndrive. It's leaky and my engine hesitates both in idle as well as while accelerating.

My question is, is it at all possible to get a replacement fuel pump for this engine? I know the OEM is pretty much impossible to find so i'm wondering if there are any alternative pumps that will fit?

Ayuh,..... Is it mechanical, or electric,..??

If mechanical, it's probably a Carter pump, or it can be converted to electric, with a few wirin' changes,....
