I have a 4.3L Yamaha YEMS. The trim pump is weak and can barely lift the drive. Does anyone sell replacement pumps or an aftermarket pump? I checked oil level and it is fine, just no power to lift. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hang in there and with any luck Capt. Ken will see this. He's about the only one in the US that may be able to help you.

I believe the late model Mercruiser style otta be an Easy adaptation to make...

I think Sierra sells them,+ you should be able to find them Right here on iboats site...

The mercruiser won't fit the metric fittings the Yamaha uses. The pump is still available but not cheap by any means. We rebuild them and usually its the motor not the pump.

Captain Ken, can we talk business in the forum our would you rather do this private? I assume I would just send you the whole pump to get rebuilt? The engine is great, I have never had any problems.

Thanks for your help!
