Yamaha gauges not working

I just bought my first boat last year (2002 SeaSwirl Striper w/ yamaha SX150X). When I turn the ignition on, the gauges don't light up or come on or anything, even though the motor starts fine. I checked all the fuses on the panel and none are blown. Before I take it to the dealer, I was hoping one of you guys could help me out...Any Ideas???? I'm getting a little frustrated. Hopefully I'm missing something stupid, like I said it's my first boat so I have little experience.

Tim<br /><br />Not sure about the Yamaha's, but take the hood off the motor and look for an inline main fuse. Many motors have them.

on my boat fitted with a yam 90hp the in line fuse is under the dash (35amp) behind the rev/speedo clocks.(phantom speed boat)

I called the dealer, and they had me check the ground. Sure enough, when I ran a tempary ground, they worked fine. So i ran a new ground. Thanks for the replies!!!!
