Yamaha f40 water pump not pumping. Already replaced water pump impeller kit.

I have replaced the w/p kit already still not pumping out exhaust

If you are testing in a bucket the water needs to be 6 or 8" above the impeller.-----I think these pumps are very simple .---Almost impossible to put them together so they do not work !!

The shaft is too big to get on my drill Was useing ears to run.

Have you checked the pee hole for obstructions?...try a piece of monofilament line like a weedeater line......spiders and bugs love to crawl up in there to build nests that plug them up....

is there water coming out from the pisser? If not you have water pump issues. If the motor is pissing have you checked the thermostats? What was the situation before you replaced the pump?
