I have a 2004 Yamaha F225 that from the onset has had a squeak, which sounds like a bad belt on your ford. It is only noticable between 900-1100 rpms. It will persist until increasing power, then resolves or at least is not audible. The engine otherwise runs great. I am in the process of having it investigated by the dealer further, but have been told it is the bushing supporting the shaft, that is not getting adequate water lubrication at that range. Anyone else with this problem, or any other ideas?
