YAMAHA F115-t115-TLRZ outboard

Want to install 115 hp Yamaha on 1982 Lund 5.3 Tyee. Have motor only. No controls,tach or trim & tilt guage. Any suggestion on where to go for controls and tach,and other guages. Had a 1982 Evinrude,90 hp. omc controls on this boat.Suppose I need some Yamaha controls. Open to all and any suggestions. Thanks, jps

buy the yam stuff new and it will work. the 05 and above tachs will rquire an adapter at the gauge to make it work correctly. try to find an o4 or eailier setup.

Hi,<br />If You want/need Yamaha digital orginal guages (You should really use that) You may want to know Yamaha has come out with a new combined Speedometer and Fuel management (FM) guage. It will cost more then only the Speedometer but it is a nice thing to be able to have FM and not need to buy a 3:d guage (as You had to do before).<br /><br />Yamaha orginal Tachometer+Speedometer is what You want.<br />Yamaha orginal control box is wise to have also.<br /><br />You can check out at Yamaha US outboard website about the guages, control box+cables. They have not the Yamaha combined Speedometer+FM guage on their website yet but it is available to buy.<br /><br />I have a Yamaha F115 (2003) myself with Yamaha digital guages.<br /><br />/Bo

Rodbolt, would you have access to part #'s for a 2004 or earlier digital Yamaha tach??? 6YR-W0035-E0-00 is the # off of a site on the net. www.boats.net/parts/ Thanks, jps

buy all the correct stuff from yamaha and it will work slick. use all yam gauges and harness's and its all plug and play. the new yamaha digital tach has all the visual alarm indicators as well as a trim meter built in it.
