After 10 years with no issues, my 2003 F115TLRB (Sea Pro SV1900) started throwing the warning signal and limiting me down to around 2000 rpm. It happens after about 20 minutes of running, typically between 3500-4500 rpm. As soon as I throttle back the alarm clears and the limp is resolved. I can get underway, but it'll happen again after a few minutes. My understanding is that ONLY engine temperature or oil pressure can create this situation. I do not have warning lights on my tach. I have been through the temperature side of things, replacing water pump, thermostat, pressure regulator, and temperature sensor. I've also replaced the oil pressure switch. I ran with both switches disconnected, and still get the alarm at around the same time, which is especially baffling. The wiring connections look clean and tight, I haven't been able to fins any problems there. Also just went through all the typical maintenance...oil, filter, plugs, battery. At this point I'm thinking ECU, but am about to take it to a shop to see if they can find anything I've missed. Any suggestions?
