yamaha f115 impeller question

I have a 2003 f115 Im rebuilding the water pump the old impeller has a bushing in it but the new one don't do I take that bushing out and put it in the new one?

no bushings in the water pump on any yamaha.
most likly the original spun the hub away from the rubber.
pictures would help.

So there is a plastic bushing thats molded in the rubber that i shouldnt be able to see?

well that explains two things to me one my over heating problem two i couldn't figure out how a keyway would stop rubber from spinning out.
