I have a 2007 Yamaha/Century 1801 with a 2006+ F115 four stroke. I am trying to remove the the digital speedometer from the helm panel. I see one tubing input and a wiring set at the rear of the speedo. The tubing is for the speedo pressure input for speed I am sure and wires are for power and the fuel inputs. How do I disconnect the wires at the back of the speedo? The wires pass through a rubber grommet and into the body of the speedo. Inside I can see they seem to be connected to a mult-ipin rectangular connector into a circuit board. How do I get access to that to unplug it? Does the rear housing of the speedo come off somehow? I see what looks like 4 screw or hole covers on the back edges of the round case but I don't want to dig into those not know what I am doing! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jim D
