yamaha 95 waverunner 760 not starting?

yes i have a 760 yamaha that want start and have no idea y? anything i should look for? i just got the ski and have had it out twice ran great! try to take it out today and just wouldnt start in the water? i can get it to crank on land but when its in the water it just want crank. i replaced the spark plugs it has a full tank gas mixed with a 50 -1 ratio of oil. there was bout 2-3 inches of water holdin in the inside of the ski could that have anything to do with it? any tips would be greatly appreciated!

i can get it to crank on land but when its in the water it just want crank.

Sounds like you may need to do a compression check. Also you may have a carb problem so the motor is not running right.

Do the comp. check and let us know what you get.

ok yes i have checked the compression and both plugs were running a 120 i replaced the spark plugs and changed a blown fuse checked make sure the gas filter wasnt clogged up and everything was good. gonna try to get the carbs off this week and have it cleaned or rebuilt and hope that solves the problem! Thanks for the info! let u know if i get it running or not after this
