Yamaha 91 200Hp wont idle

I need a little help. My 200 hp wont idle while in the water. It coughs shakes and later will just quit. It runs great at anything over 1000 rpm. I have replaces plugs and 1 coil that did not ohm out like the others, no change. It does seem to be getting worse. It will idle like a champ on the wash down.

After running a compression test to be sure everything is OK there, you will need to remove the carbs for a good cleaning. What is happening is the low speed circuit is dirty and causing rough idle. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, have someone familar with Yamahas do it.

hi,capt ken,is the low speed circle same as pilot circle?i can't find low speed circle in the manual.
