Yamaha 90ETLG 6H1_L with broken upper shift shaft

I wish to locate a upper shift shaft for this outboard motor. There is a 2 inch section of the upper shift shaft that is broken at the water level from the boat sitting in the water for years - also, appreciate ideas for repair.
