yamaha 9.9 question

I have a yamaha 9.9 eshu motor. The prop slips under high rpms. Can someone please help me with trouble shooting?

Welcome to iboats.

Most likely a "spun" hub in your prop. Any prop shop can rehub it for you. Probably be a good idea to carry a spare along.

JB, Thanks for the information, But when you say spun a hub, Are you talking about the rubber like splines inside the prop its self. Is the piece about 3 inchs long ? I really appriciate your time.
