I have a 1984 Yamaha Oil Injection .
Here we go if disconnect the gas and let stand and do not use the engine for a couple of weeks, the lower cyclinder fills up with oil. I don't know if this is created from the heat from the sun or what. I brought this engine in and had them look at it and they said that the Oil Injection was working fine, but they did mention that if I did leave the gas hooked up to the engine this could be the results..The engine runs fine after I clean the cyclinder...I did not run engine out of gas...any help would be appreciated
thanks

Sounds like the oil injector lower valve is leaking. You will need a service manual to repairs. :(

I agree with what you are saying, but on this engine, the Oil discharge comes directly from the combination Oil/Gas Pump....If the pump is not running how would the oil manage to leak?
I really appreciate your help on this. Like to see what you have to say.
Thank You again

The oil pump is worn out. It is pushing oil thru the pump when it is sitting. The oil tank is above it and will gravity feed thru the pump. You need a new oil pump.
