Yamaha 8 remote throttle problem

Yamaha 8 problem with remote throttle control. Trolling at low speed, near idle, rpm increases with starboard turn and decrease with port turn.

Maybe throttle cable is binding or kinked somewhere causing throttle fluctuations during turns?....
