Yamaha 703 Control Unit wiring into Yamaha Multi Function Gauge - Question about different colors Blue and Red

Hi Guys - I am trying to connect a multi function tach to this 1998 Yamaha 115 hp 2 stroke engine with 703 remote control box. See picture. The two harnesses from control box and tach connect ok. Its the single wires that have me puzzled. Does Blue connect to Red ? Control Box has Green Black Yellow Red, The red wire from control box has 14 volts on a multi meter Red/Blk with engine running. The Yamaha tach has colors Green Black Yellow Blue. There is no Red. Green and black go together I guess. Yellow into Yellow. Does Blue go into the Red. Its missing the fuses. Is there a way to rig it to make sure gauge works before I go get fuses and continue. Do you see any issues with wiring? thank you
