yamaha 60 4 stroke efi, fuel consumption?

hello, my neighbor bought a new g3 17 ft tunnel hull aluminum boat with a 6o yamaha 4 stroke efi.<br />he says he can only get about an hour of running out of a 6 gal tank. he does not run wide open very ofter either. is this excessive?<br />thanks in advance!<br />buckshot

I have a 2004 50 carbed and I get 4 hours of running on a 6.5 gallon tank. EFI should be more fuel efficent. Something does not sound right. Rodbolt will know the answer.
