Yamaha 55 questions

Came across this 55 I got on a 1988 Bonito boat. The model/serial plate seems to have some of the letters messed up or I just can;t see them because stamped over the model numbers it says OLD VOID. Has anyone seen this type before? Also this motor I believe is a 1991. It is in very excellent condition and runs great. Anyone have an positive or negative expreienced with this outboard? Yamaha USA offered C55 models from 1989 thru 1995. Parts catalogs are available at their website. Right where one would expect them to be.
