We recently had a used 50 (circa 1998)installed on our knock about aluminum C/C.<br /><br />The engine runs very nice so far.<br /><br />I've noticed when the engine is cold, it never starts on the first attempt. Second, yes. It's like the starter kicks out on the first attempt.<br /><br />I have no owners manual. <br /><br />Is there anything I should be doing special for a cold start sequence, other then lifting the Start/Prime lever up, to say the mid position, so it doesn't over rev on start?<br /><br />What would be an appropiate RPM at Idle, with the engine warm and in gear.<br /><br />Thank you.
