Yamaha 4hp 2-stroke weird problem

I got 4hp 2 stroke Yamaga motor. No problem with starting. It runs perfectly on lowest speed possible. ;-) <br />However when I turn up the handle to accelerate it simply dies and does it every time.<br /><br />This happens when trying to go forward backward or standing still.<br /><br />Pls help.

Sounds like your carb is gummed up in the high speed circuit, WaCoLaCo.<br /><br />It would be a very good idea to get a manual, then dismantle and clean the carb.<br /><br />You also need to check that your fuel supply is supplying plenty of gas to the carb.<br /><br />Good luck.
